Starting points, not instructions
Plushbucket gives starting points and explanations for setting up mountain bike suspension. It isn't professional advice and isn't a substitute for your fork or shock's owner's manual, the manufacturer's instructions, or a qualified mechanic. Where the app and your manual disagree, follow the manual.
Where the numbers come from
Settings come from manufacturers' published setup guides and charts wherever they exist. Where a maker doesn't publish a figure, the app uses rider, forum and tuner sources and says so. Makers change their products and specs, and any data can contain mistakes, so check settings against your own fork or shock before relying on them.
Your safety is your responsibility
- Never exceed the maximum pressure printed on your fork or shock.
- Make changes in small steps and test them somewhere safe before riding hard.
- Check your bike is in safe working order before every ride. If anything feels wrong, stop and have it inspected.
- Mountain biking is dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. You ride at your own risk.
Trail notes and AI suggestions
Trail notes suggests one change to try based on what you report. On supported iPhones, an on-device AI model can pick the closest match to what you typed. Suggestions can be wrong; check them and use your own judgement.
Service reminders
Service reminders are estimates based on makers' published intervals and the hours you log. They don't replace inspecting your suspension or servicing it sooner when it needs it.
No warranty
Plushbucket is provided free, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plushbucket and its makers aren't liable for any injury, damage to bikes or property, or other loss arising from using or relying on the app or website. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Plushbucket isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any bike or suspension brand. RockShox, Fox, Öhlins, Marzocchi, DVO, PUSH, EXT, FAST and other brand and product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify compatible products.

These terms may change as the app does. The date at the top shows the latest version.
